Joy Through Dawn is where cozy comfort meets heartfelt memory. I'm Dawn Bick, and my journey with a crochet hook began as a child, taught by my mother. That early love for creating things—from Barbie clothes to blankets—grew into the passion that launched Joy Through Dawn in October 2023.
During the quiet of the pandemic, I discovered the joy of designing wearable items, and my absolute favorites are my handmade, one-of-a-kind ponchos. They are unbelievably warm, soft, and cozy, and each one is made to deliver a tangible piece of joy and love directly to you.
The inspiration for these pieces comes from the remarkable women who shaped my life. To honor their strength and courage, I name every poncho design after them. Many of my customers tell me their poncho reminds them of a special loved one who used to crochet or knit.
